Vancouver 2010

WITH THE 2010 OLYMPICS HERE IN MY CITY IT IS VERY HARD NOT GO OUT AND BUY THE FIRST CAMERA I SEE SO I CAN START SHOOTING.  i AM STILL CONVINCED THAT MY HOMEWORK IS NOT DONE THOUGH SO I WILL HAVE TO ENDURE HOWEVER I DO INTEND TO ACQUISITION A CAMERA AT LEAST FOR A DAY TO CATCH SOME OF THE VENUES DOWNTOWN AND ANYTHING ELSE I CAN GET MY LENS IN RANGE OF.  tODAY I WAS WALKING TO THE GROCERY STORE AND ALL I HAD WAS MY PHONE TO CAPTURE WHAT I COULD OF THE TORCH RELAY… TO BE HONEST I WAS MORE IMPRESSED BY THE MOOD FROM THE MOB OF VANCOUVERITES THAN WATCHING OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK… MAYBE I SHOULD KEEP MY PERSONAL OPINIONS TO MYSELF ON THIS ONE AND JUST SHOW YOU THE IMAGES I MANAGED TO CATCH.  tHE WORST EXPOSURE JUST HAD TO BE THE BEST OPPORTUNITY.

I would like to profess my sympathy to those close to Nodar Kumaritashvili in this time of grieving.  He came to Vancouver/Whistler with the dream to compete in the winter games and passed away at 21 years of age, Friday February 12th 2o1o.

Let his life be remembered, cherished and celebrated.
